Worth the drive!! The tenderloin pizza did not disappoint and the fried chicken was so fresh, hot and crispy it was FABULOUS! make the drive people!!!
My 92 year old dad has spoke often about this place as having great catfish on Friday nights. We were in Taylorville visiting him this past weekend and decided to give the Palomino Club a try. My dad and I had the catfish; my wife and son ordered the fried chicken. Wow!!! Everything was outstanding. Generous portions, excellent flavor, and the staff were extremely friendly. So, having heard they also have good pizza, we ordered a pizza the following night for take out. We live in the Chicago area and thus, are accustomed to great pizza. I can honestly say that the Palomino Club's pizza was every bit as good as any Chicago thin crust pizza I've had. All made fresh. Definitely a winner. We will be regular customers every time we visit Taylorville. Great food, friendly service, and a great value. Well done!!!
Out for a motorcycle ride with friends and stopped at Palomino Club for lunch. We had a group of 14, and they were very accommodating. Bartender was the only waitress and she did a great job. Food was all great, especially the tenderloin and horseshoes. Owner stopped by to chat, very freindly staff.
Very understaffed so poor service. A lot of breading on tenderloin but damn was it good and HUGE!!!! Great fries!! But man, staff the foh about an hour earlier at four when you open or at least be prepared. I dont think they do any prep for the dining area.
Biggest and best breaded tenderloin I've ever had. Breaded mushrooms are awesome as well. Food was fresh. My wife says they have the best pizza. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.
Bar/restaurant atmosphere. Tried the Lime Lasagna, which is made with shrimp. I had red sauce and my husband had white. I tried both. Although both were very good, I preferred the white sauce.
